This afternoon we picked up some Portillos and hung out with Grandma P and Uncle Kev. Kyle showed off his crawling progress ... almost there! ... while sporting his new bomber jacket and ladies man t-shirt (Christmas gifts from Grandpa P and Uncle Kev).

Franklin Girls Dinner!
Last night I went out to dinner with four of my best friends in the whole world. We've known each other for almost 24 years, and have remained close ever since ;) xoxo
Festivus for the Rest-of-Us!
Christmas morning Chris and I enjoyed frosted cinnamon rolls, fresh strawberries, and mimosas ... yummy ;) Kyle got a letter from Santa, letting him know what a good baby he's been all year ;) He also got tons of new books and other fun toys to play with. The three of us had a great time celebrating Uncle Joe and Nancy's Second Annual Festivus, as well as Auntie Lou and Uncle Carlos' annual late night Xmas get-together. Again, Kyle was totally spoiled everywhere we went, and he thanks you all ;) He had the best first Christmas a little angel could ask for ;)

Christmas Eve!
On Christmas Eve we went to mass at 3pm. We got there at 2:30, and the entire place was packed. We even had to park in the secondary lot. Good think Grandma and Grandpa P got there early enough to save the three of us seats. This was Kyle's first time attending a full hour mass, and he was such a good sport. No crying at all. In fact, he was pretty excited to watch all the people sitting around him, and listen to all the lovely music. After mass, we went over to Chris's Auntie Donna's for meal number one of the night. We heard the wonderful news that Auntie Amy is ENGAGED, so Kyle will be getting another uncle in the near future (Uncle Matt). Later on we went over to Grandma and Grandpa P's for dinner number two. Both parties showered Kyle with mounds of fun toys, new clothes, and other packages galore. Thanks to everone for making his first Christmas so special ;)
Green Peas for Christmas!
After a few rocky days with carrots, Kyle really started to enjoy them almost as much as Bugs. He had them every day around dinner time for the past week. Our doctor suggested we alternate orange and green vegetables, so on Christmas Eve, we decided to have Kyle try peas for the first time. While the reaction was 100 times better than his first go at carrots, he was still not all that impressed ;)
