Manly Clothes from Uncle

Tummy Time!

Erik lost his umbilical cord on Christmas Day. Now that the scab is healing, his pediatrician gave us the okay to start tummy time. Erik tried out his pillow for the first time this morning while Kyle and Daddy were out enjoying time at Jump Zone. Erik seemed to enjoy the coziness of his tummy time pillow so much that tummy time quickly turned into nap time :)

Bathing Brothers

Erik's first bath was last Saturday, December 27th. Even though the water temp was warm, he found the whole experience a little chilly. Based on the priceless expression on his face, we gather that Erik wasn't as into it as our other water baby always is. Kyle was pretty shocked to see Erik's reaction.

Winter or Fall?

No snow for Christmas and warmer temps = lots of outdoor adventures for Kyle this December. He's spent a good amount of time exploring the "Hundred Acre Woods" in our backyard and at the park since the 25th. It's been great to get him out of the house and give him the opportunity to really run around. Something little boys definitely need.

Christmas Day with Mimi, Grandpa, Uncle, and Auntie!

On Christmas Day, Mimi, Grandpa, Uncle Kevin, and Auntie Robo came over with a huge dinner spread (ham, turkey, shrimp, Swedish meatballs, bread, green beans, macaroni, potatoes, sweets, etc.) and tons of presents for everyone. The boys had a great celebration. Thanks for everything :)

Christmas Morning 2014

Kyle's Gifts from Santa!
Kyle got a moon for his room from Mommy and Daddy :)
Bacon lover.
Watermelon lover.

Baking with Santa's Little Helper :)

Kyle loves to help Mama out in the kitchen, especially when it involves cracking eggs and mixing ingredients up with a whisk. He helped me whip up a green and red cake for Christmas day.

Christmas Eve with Nana and Buppa!

On Christmas Eve, Nana and Buppa brought over lunch (yummy sandwiches from Rex's) - and presents - and enjoyed some time with Kyle and Erik. Kyle loves all his new gifts, especially the lego set that allows him to "build the tallest tower". Thanks for everything :)

Thank you, Auntie Amy!

Last Monday night, Auntie Amy came over for a mini Christmas celebration with the boys. Kyle was thrilled with the Spiderman bike helmet and pads she and Uncle Matt got him. He wants to wear the helmet all the time. Thanks guys :)

Snail Mail from Grandpa!

Grandpa sent Kyle and Erik their first joint package in the mail today: matching outfits from the University of Montana. It was hard to get the boys to sit still/up for a picture, but they sure looked cute :) Maybe we'll try again next week .. Thanks, Grandpa!

Daddy's "vacation" from work!
