Blizzard Beach

Friday Chris and I went to the Blizzard Beach water park. We quickly learned that Fridays are not the best days to go to the parks, especially during the last week of June. Many Florida residents were there - many people were there in general - and it took us over 4 hours to get down 3 water slides. Although the slides were pretty exhilarating - especially the one extremely tall, extremely vertical one - we missed out on enjoying the wave pool and lazy river. We were pretty lucky to get down that last water slide though ... after waiting an hour and a half in line, the sky turned dark gray and it started POURING BUCKETS. Three people after Chris and I made it down, Blizzard Beach closed down the park due to inclement weather. So, although it was kind of a bust to pay $100+ for 3 water slides, at least we didn't wait an hour and a half for nothing and got to experience the park's main attraction. Once we got back to the resort, the weather cleared up a bit, and we were able to enjoy more pool time with the Ky Man.
