Today was actually pretty productive for the first day of Spring Break. Andy started working on our basement at 7:30 this morning. After brushing our teeth, the three of us bought some new summer clothes for Ky at Kohl's with a nice little 30% coupon. We then stopped off at Home Depot to by some new tiles for the basement floor. Picked up hotdogs from Portillos for lunch. Then, after nap time, we took a walk to Walgreens and stopped at the park down the street on our way home.

Sick Boy
After a week in the 100+ fever range, loads of coughing, a million runny
noses, and a round of chest x-rays at the hospital, Kyle was diagnosed
with bronchitis last Friday. Antibiotics, steam room bathrooms, and plenty of sleep, liquids, and Woody/Buzz have helped make him a happy boy again.
St. Patty's Day Weekend!
As usual, we spent this past St. Patty's Day weekend hanging out at Jason and Kristin's annual house party at their home in Edison Park. They have a 2 year-old daughter Maddie. Kyle always has a blast playing with her :) This year Kristin had to bust out the shovels to keep them entertained.
St. Catherine's Trivia Night
Team Bueller won 3rd Place at a fun-filled trivia night held at Moretti's a few weekends back! The winning answer: Titanic! Good thing I saw that movie 4 times in the theater :)
Cousins' Dinner
A few weekends ago, we had a nice family dinner with Chris' cousins. The meal was delicious! And it was great to catch up with everyone. Thanks for having us over :) Interesting fact: One of Chris' cousins - Jimmy - won the Walter Payton Award this year for college football. He's working really hard to get drafted by the NFL this fall. Our fingers are crossed ... Good Luck Jimmy! Everyone's so proud of all your accomplishments.
Downtown Birthday Fun!
Last fall, Allison, Lauren, Steph, and I went downtown to celebrate Lauren and Steph's 30ths. Last month, the four of us returned to celebrate Allison and I. We ordered Papa John's pizza at the hotel for dinner, enjoyed champagne and dessert at the Signature Room, danced the night away at Howl at the Moon, and spent the night at the Westin River North. What a fun weekend!

Red-A-Baba!
Kyle loves playing with the left over balloons from our housewarming party. His favorite, of course, are the red balloons because they remind him of the one Christopher Robin has.
Presidents' Day with Batman
Both Chris and I were off on Presidents' Day so we decided to take advantage of having the three of us together by taking Kyle to his favorite place on Earth - JUMP ZONE! - and to the Choo Choo restaurant for lunch. His current favorite slide at the JZ is Batman. In fact, every time Kyle talks about Jump Zone, it usually goes something like this: "Jump Zone. Batman!"
