6 Month Check-Up

Today was Kyle's 6 month check-up. Since I have only been back to work since November 26th, Chris decided to take the day off so that he could take Kyle to his appointment. Last night, he even made a whole list of questions to ask the doctor and stored them in his iphone for save keeping. What a good daddy. The appointment went very well. Kyle weighed in at 16 pounds 4 ounces (75th percentile) and measured in at 27 and 3/4 inches (85th - 95th percentile). Our brave little man had 5 shots today, including one dose of the flu shot. He needs to come back next month to get his booster shot (I'm sure he'll love that!). The doctor gave us the okay to start introducing other solids besides rice cereal, so we're thinking that either this weekend or the next, we'll try to whip up some yummy carrot concoction ;)
