With all the holiday excitement all week, Ky developed what was really his first noticeable zit last week. It didn't seem to bother him in the least bit. He wasn't at all self-conscious. Phew! In fact, after I snapped a photo of it to send to Daddy, he just stuck his finger up his nose at me ... his new "thing".

Sunday Swim Day!

After Uncle Kev and I made Grandpa breakfast for Father's Day, Kyle got to enjoy his brand new giraffe pool from Auntie Robo. Great day for some swimming ;)

Friday Night Giggles

Last night, Chris and I met up with his parents, Amy and Matt, Auntie Donna, and Maggie and Matt downtown at the Chicago Theater where we saw the comedian Jim Gaffigan perform. The hour and a half commute through the rain was well worth it. Jim was pretty terrific and we had a great time visiting our favorite city. While we were away, Kyle and Auntie Robo had a blast playing with his toys and spilling water all over himself from his sippy cup. Here's a cute pick of them getting all nice and dry again.

The big news on the drive home: Boston police caught the young man alive. Hope they get some much needed answers soon.

Meeting the Easter Bunny!

Friday night we took Kyle to meet the Easter Bunny. We lucked out, and Ky had a good 10 minutes to himself with the famous rabbit before other kids showed up. Unlike the two year olds waiting in line, Kyle was not frightened. AT ALL. He smile at the bunny, pat his large eyes and nose a few times, and played peak-a-boo with him. It was so fun to see our son so happy.
