Much to Learn this Young Jedi Has

The Star Wars gang hangs out in Kyle's closet next to his book shelf. Ky can't seem to get enough of these guys. He loves how Master Yoda and Chewy talk to him, and has even figured out how to make them talk when they aren't feeling very chatty. Yoda was left behind from my grandma GG when she moved into her Danish home, and Chewy is a more recent addition; Kyle got him as a birthday gift from his friends Augie and Trixie. Thanks guys! We have a few very simple Star Wars phonics books that I picked up from the book fair at my work so we read one or two of them whenever we want to do some Jedi training and learn about the force ;)

ABC Review

Today during breakfast, Kyle practiced spoon feeding himself bananas while we reviewed the letters we've been working on: A,B, C, and K. We reviewed a few chunks too, like /all/ as in "ball" and /at/ as in "cat", as well as the vowel digraphs /oo/ in "book" and /ow/ as in "plow" and "cow". Simple chunks and digraphs can be used to form simple words.

Sunday Swim Day!

After Uncle Kev and I made Grandpa breakfast for Father's Day, Kyle got to enjoy his brand new giraffe pool from Auntie Robo. Great day for some swimming ;)
