Animal Kingdom

Wednesday we hit up Disney's Animal Kingdom. Chris's high school friend works around there and was able to get us in for FREE. We explored Africa, Asia, DINOland, and Camp Micky and Minnie. Beautiful park. Major movie themes included "The Lion King" and "Finding Nemo".

Be Our Guest

For months I've heard great things about the new Be Our Guest restaurant in New Fantasyland, and for months I've been trying to get the five of us a dinner reservation for any night of our stay. I finally accepted the fact that I needed to book this reservation even months earlier. However, apparently Be Our Guest does not accept lunch reservations. Lunch is on a first come, first serve basis, and came we did. When walking through New Fantasyland around 11am on Tuesday, we gladly entered a quick 20 minute line and enjoyed a fantastic lunch under glitzy chandeliers and painted ceilings. A lovely dining experience overall.

M.I.C. K.E.Y. M.O.U.S.E.

We didn't actually get to meet Mickey (he's too popular), but we sure took a lot of Mickey in. Chris and I shared a chocolate Mickey ice cream bar (a MUST have to brave the Disney heat), and Ky got his official Mickey ears :) Grammy and Grandpa also got Ky some Disney friends to play with in the pool. Thanks Grammy and Grandpa
