V and W

V is actually one of the letters Kyle can identify verbally (point to a "V" and say "V"). I think this is because V is one of the letters in his middle name (Steven), which we try to spell over and over again (tracing it on his back, magnets on the fridge, etc.). The other letters he can identify verbally include K, Y, and A. That's more than some of my kindergarteners!

3 Day Weekend!

Kyle, Chris, and I have each had our share of that nasty, naughty bug that's going around. First it was Chris, then Kyle, then me, then Kyle, then, Chris, then me, and now we're all just a-ok combined with some itchy throats and sneezes. Pretty typical for this time of year. As a result, I haven't been doing much blogging lately, let alone much of any picture taking, so this afternoon I decided to whip out my phone while I was at the park with Ky. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY! One could easily mistake it for summer if they didn't know any better. Kyle and I enjoyed some Mother/Son time swining on swings, kicking around the old soccer ball, and crawling through tunnels (sorry, no pictures of that lovely picture).

Bridesmaid Dress Shopping!

Last Saturday, I joined Auntie Amy and her friends for an afternoon of bridesmaid dress shopping. After trying on many beautiful, as well as many interesting dresses, I think she finally narrowed it down to two - both lovely choices. It's fun to help her plan :) Cheers to Amy and Matt!

Running from Daddy!

Most days after work Kyle enjoys running toward Daddy, and then running away from Daddy. The thrill of the chase makes him all giggly :) Here's him running toward the living room and then pausing to check on Daddy's status.
