Valentine Housewarming

This year for my birthday, we decided to have a housewarming party and have all our friends over to see our new home. We had 35 people total, and it was nice to see that everyone fit comfortably despite the fact that our home isn't exactly open concept. Our basement isn't finished yet, but Chris was very helpful in helping me make it look homey by adding Christmas lights, birthday signs, and flowers. We hope everyone had a great time. We sure did!

Booster Seat Fun

Paste! Kyle's getting really crafty these days. He's discovered paste, and loves it. Kyle does a lot of art projects while Mommy's at work, pasting colorful shapes to colorful paper. He's always excited to show me his hard work. So proud of you, buddy :)

Cook It!

Ever since he got his new play kitchen for Christmas (thanks Grammy Mimi and Grandpa!), Kyle has become quite the little chef. He runs into his play room, grabs a pan, and says, "Cook it. Cook it." with a big smile on his face. He loves making coffee with his fancy K-cups, and cooking up hot dogs, which he's begun serving at Nana and Buppa's as well. Good training for Cubs' season :)

Jump Zone with Uncle and Krystle!

The Monday of MLK weekend, Kevin and Krystle met Kyle and I at his fav hang out: JUMP ZONE! He had a ball and ever since, continues to pretty much beg us to go back every day. Chris and I took him again this morning (Presidents' Day). I hope hitting up the JZ one day a month gives him his fix.

Happy Birthday, Boo!

For Boo's 85th birthday, Sarah, Mom, Auntie Jan, Auntie Karen, and I went to Mario's for facials, massages, and pedicures (we each got one service). Then we went out for a delicious dinner at White Chocolate in Schaumburg. What a fun Martin Luther King weekend!
