Shopping Carts

I took the boys on a shopping adventure at Target after school last week. When we got there I realized that I'd left the stroller at home. I also realized that Target carts only have room for one pair of little legs to sit in the seat. So, it was either we forget our fun and go home, or act like big boys and make this work. Kyle is typically a bit of a runner and Erik had never been in a cart outside of his car seat before, but I figured there's a first time for everything. In went Erik. Out went Kyle. We walked up and down the aisle, looking at "things we like, but are not ready to buy". We went slow and had absolutely no agenda other than to kill an hour after work. Ky surprised me. He was such a good boy, and Erik loved being seated upright in the cart. They both had fun looking at all the toys and Christmas - yes, Christmas - decorations. I think we'll try it again next time the weather is bad.

Even More Pumpkin Fun!

Last night we painted a couple of small pumpkins, and tonight we ran threw a small pumpkin patch uptown and picked out a medium sized pumpkin and a bag of cookies. Yum :)
