Nature Class

Kyle spent every Tuesday afternoon throughout the month of May at the wilderness center in Park Ridge. His nature class always opened with an opportunity for the toddler learners to observe and pet a variety of their animals, closed with a hike around the pond, and covered the following topics: animal eggs; water; frogs; and worms. When asked to gently pet the shell of a snapping turtle, Kyle grabbed the turtle's arm, giving it a tight squeeze ... needless to say, the turtle was not a fan of our little guy :/ Kyle always enjoyed the daily art project. Here's a few shots of him painting logs with "water paint".
