Other Animal Kingdom Hot Spots

Other than the African Safari and whitewater rafting ride in Asia, we also really REALLY enjoyed Expedition Everest and "Finding Nemo: The Musical". Expedition Everest - also in Asia - is a tall, dark roller coaster that goes up high and backward through a mountain while images of a scary yeti pop out at you along the way. We were smart and got a Fastpass for this ride - otherwise this easily would have been another hour and a half wait, as opposed to the maybe 10 minutes it took Chris and I to climb to the front of the line - SWEET :) "Finding Nemo: The Musical" was just that - a 40 minute musical version of the famed Disney Pixar movie. This was just great. I loved every minute of it. The costumes, props, songs, movement - everything felt like we were at a Broadway show - well, everything except for the faint smell of a poopy diaper, which unfortunately had been growing since sometime while waiting in line for the production. Oh well. With no assigned seating and major lines, we had to just let it go for an hour or so, and "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" ;)

There was no flash photography allowed inside! Bummer!
