Tot Rock

Right before we left for Disney, Kyle started a Tot Rock class at the Park District. The first half of each 50 minute class focuses on music/dance/rhythm and the second half focuses on a different movement theme each week (i.e. foot/car/train/plane/etc.). Kyle got practice racing other kids, walking mail to the mailbox, and walking dogs. He really enjoyed the giant parachute at the end of class, and even made a little friend, Frank. Frank's mom and I actually went to high school together so it was neat to see a familiar face. After class, Frank and Kyle hung out at the park for a little bit. Frank is about 7 or 8 months older than Kyle, but they will be in the same grade once they start school. Kyle is actually the youngest kid in Tot Rock. It's a class for 12 to 24 month old kids, so most of the kids are already running all over the place. Even though Kyle is still in the beginning stages of walking, he is a master crawler. I think I got the most work out of any parent in the class trying to chase after him! Below is my attempt at taking a few pictures while Kyle was on the go.
